These terms and conditions apply to all work, quotes, inspections and services provided by Richmond Brake & Clutch ("we", "us", "our") in Richmond, Nelson. By booking work with us, you agree to these terms.
Quotes are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time. If additional faults are found once work begins, we will contact you and seek approval before carrying out any extra work or incurring additional cost.
Payment is due on collection of the vehicle unless other arrangements have been agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods displayed in our workshop. Vehicles remain our responsibility only while on our premises for agreed work.
We stand behind our workmanship. Parts supplied carry the warranty offered by their manufacturer. Any warranty claim relating to our labour should be raised with us as soon as the issue is noticed.
WOF inspections are carried out to the standards set by the relevant transport authority. A pass reflects the condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection only and is not a guarantee of ongoing roadworthiness.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of the work performed. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
